Position Summary
Reporting directly to law school's Associate Dean of Graduate and International Legal Programs, the Administrative Assistant for Graduate and International Legal Programs supports the Associate Dean in the advancement and development of graduate and international legal programs at the Sturm College of Law through general administrative support, including with events, student and stakeholder engagement, expenses and travel support, scheduling, and admissions matters.
This is a non-benefited position not to exceed 1,000 hours in a calendar year.
Essential Functions
- Provide administrative support for the Associate Dean for matters related to graduate and international legal programs.
- In coordination with the Associate Dean, facilitate events for the graduate and international legal programs, in collaboration with relevant law school staff.
- Support the Associate Dean with scheduling, expenses, and travel arrangements, working with Concur.
- Support the Associate Dean with tasks related to student recruitment and engagement, including managing records, compiling data, and supporting admissions.
- Support the Associate Dean's work on curriculum, degree planning, and adjunct faculty relations.
- Support the Associate Dean's engagement with alumni and relevant stakeholders.
- Other duties as needed to support the graduate and international legal programs at the Sturm College of Law.

- Proficiency with relevant technologies, including Microsoft Office suite (e.g., Word, Excel, Teams, PowerPoint); ability to gain proficiency in technologies as needed, such as Qualtrics, Banner, and Canvas
- Strong attention to detail
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree (BA) from a four-year college or university or equivalent training and experience
- Ability to read, speak, and write fluently in English
Preferred Qualifications
- One to two years of experience in a legal or higher education office environment providing administrative or coordination support.
Work Schedule
Twenty hours per week, with exact schedule to be determined in coordination with the Associate Dean of Graduate and International Legal Programs. Hours will occasionally fall outside of normal office hours (M-F, 8:30-5pm). In accordance with the University's flexible work policy, this position is eligible to be considered for partial remote work subject to approval by the Associate Dean of Graduate and International Legal Programs.

Hourly Range
The hourly range for this position is $20.00-$22.00
