Position Summary

Salary range for this position is: 16.69/hr. - $20/hr. depending on experience)

International Programs serves the Seattle Colleges District by supporting international students enrollment and international initiatives. By doing so, it contributes to the inclusive learning environment promoted by the college, broadening opportunities for international experiences and greater understanding among individuals of diverse backgrounds.

The Admissions Assistant will be responsible for data entry, applicant correspondence, and other clerical support.

What you will be working on:
  • Data entry of student records, admission materials and immigration documents
  • Correspondance with applicants to ensure the completeness of application via email and phone
  • Issuing acceptance materials
  • Other clerical support as needed

What you bring as a candidate: (Any Equivalent Combination of Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, Education and Experience)
  • One or more years of clerical experience
  • Experience with data entry
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite products, particularly Word and Excel
  • Strong organizational and communication skills, attention to detail, and ability to problem solve

Physical Requirements:

Ability to perform range of physical motions, exerting up to 25 pounds; lifting and carrying up to 25 pounds; standing, walking, sitting for long periods of time, kneeling, squatting, and stooping; and traversing up and down stairs.
